Scotland has been recognised as the top investment location for connectivity in the prestigious fDi European Cities and Regions of the Future Awards. The awards celebrate the most successful locations in Europe for investment attraction.

Scotland is also a great place for work-life balance, ranking among the top 10 fDi Awards for economic potential, business friendliness, human capital and lifestyle.

This follows EY's report that Scotland is once again the top UK location for inward investment outside of London.

The awards will be presented at the MIPIM (Marché International des Professionnels de l’Immobilier) conference in Cannes next month, where a delegation representing Scotland’s public and private sectors will promote Scottish opportunities to the world’s biggest real estate investors.

“Connectivity is just one of the reasons that Scotland continues to attract investment from overseas, making it the top foreign direct investment (FDI) location in the UK outside of London. The MIPIM conference is a unique opportunity to promote Scotland’s many qualities to the biggest investors on the planet.”
