It’s home to the cyberQuarter, a cybersecurity research and development centre, and the Virtual Production Lab, which belongs to a network of filmmaking and digital content creation.

Likewise, the Emergent Technology Centre (ETC) is a collaborative facility for research and practice centred on digital technologies. CoSTAR Realtime Lab is a cutting-edge virtual production studio based in Dundee’s City Quay, and part of a national programme of five UK sites.

Energy transition

Did you know Tay Cities region will enable your business to thrive in energy transition sectors? Forth and Tay Offshore aims to grow the offshore energy sector on Scotland’s east coast by supporting business innovation and collaboration.

ScotWind is the largest commercial offshore wind leasing round in the world to date, with up to 30 gigawatts of new capacity in the pipeline.

The Perth and Kinross Strategic Energy Partnership will help unlock investment, and facilitate the delivery of heat, renewable energy and decarbonisation projects. Meanwhile, the Eden Campus, in northeast Fife, is a hub for innovation and low-carbon economic development.

The Health Informatics Centre and McKenzie Institute are behind breakthroughs in data and early diagnosis. Likewise, the Ninewells Hospital and the Drug Discovery Unit deliver pioneering clinical practice and biotech-style drug development.

Agritech

You'll benefit from The James Hutton Institute’s expertise in fundamental and applied science that drives the sustainable use of land and natural resources.

Through the Centre for Agricultural Sustainable Innovation (CASI), you can collaborate with agricultural businesses. This fosters farm-based innovations that advance sustainability and strengthen the future of food production.
