INEOS

INEOS is a fully integrated manufacturing complex made up of Scotland’s only crude oil refinery, a major petrochemicals production centre and the processing operations for the Forties Pipeline System.

This 1700-acre estate already has a number of market-ready serviced sites available offering a unique commercial advantage to investors in this sector. The sites have the added bonus of direct access to energy, steam, effluent treatment, compressed air and nitrogen, as well as effective and significant logistics facilities by road, rail and port. 

Forth Ports 

Recently shortlisted for Green Freeport status, Forth Ports is Scotland’s largest port, handling over 9 million tonnes of cargo each year. It receives a variety of import and export ships from all over the globe, managing containments for industries including oil and gas, agriculture, construction and food and drink.

 

Green Freeport status has the potential to unlock £6 billion in private and public investment for Scotland and to create new training facilities, logistic parks, rail networks and freight terminals . This exciting proposal aspires to generate up to 38,350 new green jobs and act as a catalyst for new green technologies and renewable energy manufacturing.

CalaChem

CalaChem provides industrial services to customers in the chemical, pharmaceutical and manufacturing industries.

For over 100 years, the company manufactured chemicals, and has now diversified to providing industrial property, land and services to energy intensive manufacturing businesses. Within its 85 acres, 30% is available for development. It offers fully serviced, prime industrial land, from 1 to 10 acres, as well as ready-to-enter office space, warehouse space and laboratory facilities. 

CalaChem provides a complete treatment and disposal service for third party bulk aqueous waste and for on-site customers at its large-scale, fully automated Effluent Treatment Plant. 

Investment in a green state-of-the-art combined heat and power plant, generating energy from waste, will provide occupiers and tenants a secure price for electricity and steam generally independent of world market events.
