A taste of Scotland's finest food and drink
Scotland is blessed with a larder of some of the world’s best natural food and drink produce. To celebrate Scotland Week, on April 6 2017 at the Astor Centre in New York, we'll be hosting a showcase event with royal chef Darren McGrady, showing the broad range and quality of Scottish food and drink products.
Darren is a former personal chef to Queen Elizabeth II and has cooked for five US Presidents. After training at the Savoy Hotel London, Darren moved to Buckingham Palace, where for 11 years, he cooked for the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh and their guests, and catered banquets for visiting heads of state.
Chef Darren will be cooking Scottish delicacies throughout the evening. The chef's creations will be paired with handcrafted Scottish spirits and craft beers.
We will also be showcasing a range of Scotland's finest food and drink from some of Scotland's top speciality food and drink producers
