In an increasingly competitive Europe, Scotland continues to be a top ten location for inward investment - and our cities are big hits in the rankings.
In the 2014/15 European Cities and Regions of the Future rankings, announced by fDi Magazine, Scotland was named overall runner-up in the Region of the Future category.
By improving on 2012's fifth place Scotland has overtaken rival regions in France, Denmark, Sweden and the south-east of England.
