This lead to Ofcom’s recommendation for a bill to be passed in parliament. From 1 January 2016, TV White Space has been approved for UK.

In June 2015, the Centre for White Space Communication was awarded a grant from the Scottish Government. This was to develop and implement a world first mobile and fixed TV white space pilot network on Orkney in partnership with CloudNet IT-Solutions Ltd.

In March 2014, a TV White Space Ofcom pilot in Glasgow was designed and installed at the University of Strathclyde campus as the first point-to-multi-point network in urban areas. This lead to Ofcom’s recommendation for a bill to be passed in parliament. From 1 January 2016, TV White Space has been approved for UK.

This lead to Ofcom’s recommendation for a bill to be passed in parliament. From 1 January 2016, TV White Space has been approved for UK.
