Resort development

Scotland's natural beauty has strong appeal to guests who come back time and time again, making it an ideal place for resort development.

Easy access to Europe, North America and the rest of the UK means that it's possible to target a wide range of corporate and leisure markets from full-service deluxe resorts, through to the economy sectors.

Scotland has also been at the forefront of vacation ownership with resorts that include the world famous Old Course Hotel, Gleneagles Hotel, Trump Turnberry and Cameron House at Loch Lomond.

A safe haven for investment

For millions of tourists each year, Scotland is a holiday destination which is second to none.

Every year, more and more people discover great places to stay, friendly people, inspiring scenery, superb food and drink, and a fascinating culture and history.

Scotland is one of the most connected countries in Europe. Our five main airports have more than 50 year-round international services, and over 70 links with international cities.

Scotland’s airports have seen a dramatic increase in passenger traffic thanks to the introduction of more direct flights to Europe, America and the Middle East. Almost 22 million people travelled through Scotland’s busiest airports, Edinburgh and Glasgow, in 2016.
