City hotels

City hotels

Figures released in April 2012 showed that five Scottish cities have some of the highest occupancy rates in Europe, meaning that Scotland is heating up as a prime destination for luxury hotel investment.

The strength of the business and leisure tourism markets in Scotland’s cities drives year round occupancy and high room rates.

Demand for additional accommodation – particulary 4-star and above, presents significant opportunities for accommodation providers, developers and investors.

Hotel opportunities by city

From small, idylic and traditional to big, bustling and cosmopolitan, each of Scotland's cities has something different to offer visitors. Find out facts, figures and key hotel investment opportunities in each of our hotel opportunity city guides.
