Funding

The Scottish Government is committed to growing Scotland's economy:

• Through the expansion and growth of existing companies
• By attracting new companies to locate or invest here

The government provides funding to aid in both of these objectives.

This includes R&D funding and a grant that helps companies to set up operations in Scotland. Many large multinational corporations have taken advantage of these grants - on top of all the other benefits that Scotland has to offer - to locate their operations here.
