The Scottish Government is committed to renewable energy solutions and has set a target of 100 percent of Scotland’s electricity consumption coming from renewable sources by 2020.

This offers excellent investment opportunities for fuel cell energy companies with the Hydrogen Energy Group (HEG) estimating that up to half of this renewable energy could come from fuel cell facilities.

HEG predict that by 2020 Scotland’s fuel cell sector will employ 10,000 people and contribute £500 million per year to Scotland’s economy.
