The organisation supports new and existing talent and businesses, educates young people and promotes Scotland as a creative place to make films, award winning television and world-renowned digital entertainment.
Digital strategy
In December 2009, the Digital Media Industry Advisory Group unveiled its strategy for Scotland’s creative industries and digital media. Its vision is to create a high growth, world-class cluster of content, platform and technology providers in Scotland, who develop and distribute innovative digital content and technologies to global markets.
To achieve this aim the group singled out five critical areas for development by businesses, academia, government and public sector bodies. They are:
- Innovation
- Interactive distribution platforms
