Funding

The Scottish Government is committed to growing Scotland's economy in two ways:

• Through the expansion and growth of existing companies
• By attracting new companies to locate or invest here

The government provides funding to aid in both of these objectives.

This includes R&D funding, equity funding as well as a grant called Regional Selective Assistance to help companies to set up operations in Scotland. Many large multinational corporations and smaller companies have taken advantage of these grants to locate here.
