A Glasgow-based video social network company has been awarded a place on technology business magazine, Red Herring’s, list of top 100 global innovative tech companies.
Moviecom.tv were crowned winners at the Red Herring Global 100 event in Los Angeles, California. A prestigious honour recognising the 2011’s most audacious and far-reaching private technology companies and entrepreneurs across North America, Europe, and Asia.
Moviecom.tv is an online video platform that empowers businesses to communicate their true value and increase revenue through video.

Gillian O’Neil, CEO of Moviecom.tv commented, “We are on an incredible journey right now, we are raising Series A investment funds, and exploring both East and West Coast US for our expansion in 2012.
“It was fantastic spending time in Silicon Valley last week with some of the world’s finest companies and then winning this award, I’m delighted for the whole team.”
The Global 100
Red Herring’s Global 100 has become a mark of distinction for identifying promising companies and entrepreneurs. Red Herring editors were among the first to recognize that companies such as Google, Skype, Facebook, Twitter, Baidu, Salesforce, YouTube, eBay and many others would change the way we live and work.
