During the summit, SDI aimed to:
- increase awareness of Scotland’s strengths in the BPO sector
- increase Scotland's media profile
- keep up-to-date with industry trends
- grasp the opportunity to network with the industry
- increase Scotland's branding and visibility as a BPO location
SDI secured speaking slots for Philip Taylor, Professor of Work and Employment at Glasgow's University of Strathclyde, and Vidia Mooneegan, Managing Director of Ceridian Mauritius.
Also taking part were Mark Dolan, SDI's country head in India, Cherise Mascarenhas from SDI's Mumbai team, Misha Bajaj from SDI's Delhi team and Jim Mason from SDI's trade and investment team in Scotland.
The summit was shown a video showcasing the BPO sector in Scotland and SDI staff conducted one-to-one interviews with delegates.
