Stream Communications is one of the 20 Scottish companies benefiting from the support of Scottish Development International at this year's GSMA Mobile World Congress.

The event is showcasing groundbreaking new innovations in mobile applications and technology to 50,000 delegates from 200 countries around the world.

Faced with the rising popularity of connected tablet devices amongst business users, securing and maintaining a mobile connection is critical. Stream Communications M2M SIM cards access an enhanced range of mobile 3G network services for corporate data users, ensuring reliable, faster and more secure connectivity.

Anne MacColl, Chief Executive of Scottish Development International, said: "Stream Communications is an excellent example of a Scottish technology company that has developed an innovative wireless solution for the mobile space and mobile technology operators.

"We're delighted to be working with the company to help it build its international profile and attending Mobile World Congress will give Stream an opportunity to showcase their technology or products to an influential international audience."

Nigel Chadwick, Founding Director of Stream said: “The consumer mobile networks are not designed with the same robustness and security as the Stream network, which provides a reliable and secure connection for enterprise customers looking to use the latest generation of tablet devices, such as the iPad, in the modern working environment. With Stream Communications’ dedicated enterprise-grade service, business users can be confident of accessing corporate services and systems on the move.”
