William Wood, Sales & Marketing Director & Co-Founder, Sciencesoft
Sciencesoft is the Glasgow based world-leader in 3D visualisation and analysis software for the global oil and gas industry.
Sciencesoft’s products helps engineers analyse results by quickly producing 3D images of a company’s oil or gas field. Their products are the main prediction tools used by engineers in petroleum companies to forecast future oil and gas production.
Sciencesoft has achieved an annual growth rate of 25 percent since 2002 and overseas sales account for 90 percent of the company’s turnover. As well as winning the prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the International Trade category, Sciencesoft’s team won the John Logie Baird Innovation Award for its newest software package.
William will present an interactive session in how Sciencesoft targeted international customers using a Glasgow based sales team and how they continue increasing sales during this challenging economic climate.
Pete Higgins, Founder and CEO, UWI Technology

UWI Technology have invented a label that shows how long the jar has been opened for and states when the ‘use within’ period has been lapsed.
Founder and CEO Pete Higgins, will delight the audience with his interesting insight into how his innovation was developed and how UWI Label has attracted wide aclaim in a number of awards such as the Vibes and Barclays Awards 2011.
Pete recently took part in an trade and export strategy workshop and will discuss how this has been integrated into their business plan.
